Activity DescriptionFollowing the format in Kaywell¡¯s textbook, and using a YA novel candidates have read that as their core, they will incorporate reading, writing, speaking, listening and viewing activities to demonstrate how to bridge a YA book with a classic novel. They will do a brief overview of their article in small groups. They must prepare a copy of an abstract for each class member that highlights your article. They must relate how you will incorporate a discussion of cultural differences and accommodate the activities for English language learners at various proficiency levels.
